My Top 3 Priorities

  • Accountability and Professionalism - reduce litigtation, educate and hold teachers and staff accountable for their actions
  • Mental health - make sure students have timely, accessible, high-quality psychological help at school and safe and supportive environment
  • Flexibility and access for all students

I attended Palo Alto schools from K-12, graduating from Paly in 2015. I participated in community events and helped plan a community teen event focused on mental health in 2015 entitled "In This Together, A Place to Share, A Place to Support, A Place to Heal."  I'm currently a part-time student at Foothill College.

I may not have a lot of real world experience, but I will bring my recent first-hand experience on what issues are and ideas on solutions, and hope to bring a fresh and different perspective to the School Board. Having depression, ADHD, and anxiety and an IEP allowed me to see parts of the school system that are often hidden. I experienced things that worked well and had some amazing teachers, and other things that need improvement. I was bullied, had confidentiality breached, and my IEP ignored.
