My Top 3 Priorities

  • Deal with Growth Impacts - Constrain commercial development, secure traffic and parking funding sources, limit commuter impacts on neighborhoods, and enforce our ordinances.
  • Housing - Increased affordable, below-market rate housing including funding sources, encourage Stanford to house more of its staff, conversion of some mixed use zoning to residential and protections for renters.
  • Invest in the Community. Rebuild Cubberley Community Centert, the Animal Shelter, police and fire stations. Extend Palo Alto's fiber optic broadband internet network to the home

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I will work on your behalf on:
(1)Office Land Use. Let’s end the era of aggressive development.

Buildings that exceed intended zoning adversely affect traffic,

parking, pollution, neighborhoods, schools, and quality of life.

Residents should trust that the city will enforce its own rules;

developments must provide adequate parking, maintain a 50 foot height

limit, and have appropriate setbacks.

(2)Housing. We must improve our housing stock. I support creation

of affordable housing, conversion of commercial space to residential,

and protections for renters in danger of being displaced.

We can solve our housing issues.

(3)Broadband Internet. High Speed Internet is now a basic utility.

It’s time to connect Palo Alto's existing gigabit speed fiber-optic

infrastructure to our homes.

I would be honored to be re-elected. I love this town, am endorsed

by many neighborhood leaders, and will always represent the interests

of residents.
