My Top 3 Priorities

  • Fiscal Responsibility - Last year we put nearly $70 million in financial reserves once depleted by the great recession . I have brought on contract, procurement and risk managers to protect out public funds and would like to increase oversight.
  • Increasing transparency and citizen engagement. This year I brought 4 State of the City town halls to the community, created the first "Dark Money" ordinance for clean campaigns and outreached to the community on various community concerns.
  • Creating Neighborhood friendly developments and Quality of Life for residents. I challenged developers to make projects neighborhood friendly. Now they pay fore for parks, affordable housing and schools. Density not needed in every neighborhood.
