Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I love Saratoga and I am passionate about serving our community.

I am well prepared to serve on the City Council.  Eight year of planning commission and many years of community volunteer work gave me solid understanding of our city and how government works.  My high-tech work experience and analytical and organization skills are not only beneficial but also essential to effectively managing the business of our city.

I am an effective leader, a consensus builder, a good listener, and an energetic “can do” person who will serve our residents’ needs. I have a proven track record of the last 15 years volunteer work in Saratoga. I will continue my love for Saratoga through actions.

If you have any concerns, issues, and suggestions on how we can build an even stronger community and make Saratoga a better place to live, please feel free to reach me anytime at

Please join many Saratogans in supporting my candidacy and vote for Yan Zhao for Saratoga City Council. I am #1 on the ballot.  Thank you very much.
