I am a fourth generation Tularean.  I began my first career as a college athletic coach at College of the Sequoias.  That career was put on hold after the September 11th terrorist attacks, at which time I joined the United States Air Force, serving eight years in Military Police, five of those as a Non-Commissioned Officer.  While in the service, I was a graduate of both the Air Force's Airman Leadership School and Combat Leaders School.  After my Militay service, I worked for the Tulare Improvement Program and then the Tulare Historical Museum where I continue to work today.  My employment there first began as the Curator, and was then promoted to Executive Director-Curator.  I am also a graduate of the Tulare Chamber of Commerce "Leadership Tulare" class.  I have a Masters degree in Diplomacy-Conflict Resolution.  I have 25 years of direct team leadership experience.  I have been the head of Tulare's Olive Branch Masonic Lodge for the past three years, and have served on the Board of Directors for the Masonic Temple Company for the past 7 years, and the Tulare United Methodist Church Board of Trustees for the past 3 years, now of which I am the Interim Chairman of.  I am the past recipient of the Tulare Youth Service Bureau's "Volunteen of the Year" award and the Tulare Rotary Club's "Volunteer of the Year" award.
