My Top 3 Priorities

  • Maintain the beauty and safety of our city,
  • Increase the number and depth of programs for seniors in the city including physical activities, educational activities and social gatherings for seniors.
  • Our infrastructure for internet in the city is spotty, old and expensive. The city can contract with an internet provider who can make high speed, reliable internet available to all of our citizens at a reasonable cost.

After commpletion of my residency I moved to Gainesville, Florida for a plastic surgery residency.  In 1975, having completed this, my wife and I and our two children moved to Westlake Village and bought a house in the First Neighborhood.  I have lived in Westlake Village since then.   In 1978 I started my practice of plastic surgery in Westlake Village and have maintained an office here ever since.  I retired from practice in April of this year.  I now have four children ages 48, 47, 30 and 25. I hjave had children at Whiteoak elementary and Agoura High School.  All are college graduates exceept the youngest who will graduate in December.  The oldest is a teacher, next is a nurse, next is a software engineer and the youngest has majored in film and is fluent in Mandarin.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

A politician is the voice of the people to the government.  His or her political views should have no significance because any actions taken should be done so on behalf of his or her constituency.  As a member of the Westlake Village City Council I feel that my job would be to listen to what the people of the city want and do my best to provide that to them.  Our city has been administered very well in the past and I have no thoughts of any significant changes.  I have worked with the present city council members over the years and I look forward to an ongoing relationship as a fellow member of the council.
