Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I believe that education is a powerful tool to support democracy, equality, equity, and quality of life. Every student deserves and is entitled to an exceptional public education. I was fortunate enough to attend public schools that prepared me for success in the workplace – and beyond. It’s been an honor to serve as a school board member in the district I attended so many years ago. And I feel called to continue this work, ensuring that SPUSD offers the highest quality education possible to our students.
