My Top 3 Priorities

  • Balance our operating budget and enhance our reserve fund. Donate 100% of my salary back to our community; Scholarships for our High School students, (AED) Heart machines at our schools.
  • Public Safety. As the only Veteran and candidate with public safety experience (Auxiliary Firefighter), I understand the issues and importance in protecting the life and property of our residents. Enhance staffing levels and response times.
  • Development and housing. As more consumers shop online, support our brick and mortar stores. Attract additional automotive dealerships, enhancing sales tax revenues. Collaborate with county/state agencies on affordable housing.

I began my government experience as a college intern for the city of Pasadena.  That exposure reinforced my desire to serve others in my community through commitment, leadership, and my parents upbringing to become my "own man in life" and always help others and give back to my community.

I served in the Marine Corps, returned to college, and started my management experience in government and working in public and private education.  I was fortunate to work at USC as a Manger (Division of Business Affairs).  I learned the modern practices of leadership, management, and leading others.  As important,  working with international students and learning the significance of diversity, respect, and collaboration for a common cause, helping others through the many disciplines in education.  My life motto continues to be Family-Service-Country.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I have always believed that running for office requires personal merits.  One must also bring value and experience to that office and not for special interest or personal gain.  In the worde of Presdient John F. Kennedy, " Let us go forth to lead the land we love, asking for his blessing and his help, knowing that here on earth Gods work must truly be our own".  My campaign is dedicated to our men and women in uniform, past and present.  Semper Fi!
