My Top 3 Priorities

  • Build revenue by supporting a strong small-business climate
  • Combat homelessness
  • Increase equity across all of Redlands, including by supporting an urban forest in lower-income areas

University of Colorado Bachelor of Arts, Linguistics (1995)

As a representative of the city, she serves on the Interagency Council on Homelessness, the CONFIRE board, the League of California Cities, the Santa Ana River Parkway Policy Advisory, the Southern California Association of Governments and the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority board. She is the city's liaison for the A.K. Smiley Library Board of Trustees.

She has been honored as Journalist of the Year (nationally), Redlands Community Hero, a Redlands Council of PTA's Service to Youth Awardee, an AAUW Named Gift Honoree and more, all for service to community.

Her husband of 26 years, Doug, and she have two children, ages 25 and 23.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

Toni believes service to community means being accessible and approachable to every resident, which is why she tries to meet everyone in town and she publishes her cell phone number (909-213-2169) everywhere she can, including, when she was the editor, on the front page of the paper.

She is committed to service with no partisan agenda.

And what she values most about decision making is keeping an open mind while seeking all perspectives.

With Redlands on the cusp of major changes, she wants to help transition with continuity of character, fiscal responsibility and stewardship of our air, soil and water.
