My Top 3 Priorities

  • Continuing my work that encorporated public involvement to directly improve our Parks and Recreation assets. OUR parks are exactly that: assets for our people to access, use and enjoy at Lake Tahoe.
  • We must continue infrastructure improvements in the 50+ years systems to deliver clean fresh water and protect Lake Tahoe, while maintaining lowest possible rates to keep the area affordable. Water loss is almost 1/3 of our production.
  • Continue the work to install fire hydrants, water storage and delivery systems that will provide better forest fire abatement and regional emergency tools. I will continue to be a good stewards of this region and Lake Tahoe.

Sue Daniels works to make North Lake Tahoe one of the best places in the world to live and play

My position has been open and positive in protecting Lake Tahoe, our area and our properties. I meet many people in my position as a Realtor and I understand what they are asking.

Why Vote for Sue Daniels?

                 Fiscally Responsible

                 Community leader

60 year Tahoe resident and business owner

Twelve years ago you gave me your trust to represent you on the NTPUD Board. I kept rates among the lowest in the Tahoe area while working within our budget to provide capital reinvestment in our aging sewer, water, and parks facilities.  I have committed to improved operational efficiency by adding miles of new water lines and rebuilt sewer systems.

These recent years I’ve worked creating recreational improvements to our most visible and well used assests. Using grant funding and public-private partnerships, I have helped create and I have approved measures allowing the district to improve our wonderful ammenities. Our district added the Tree Top Adventure Course, new rest rooms, upgraded boat launch facilities, a new dog park including ADA access to the tennis complex. I have fought to keep our North Tahoe Event Center open and affordable for all our residents to enjoy, and to allow us to market it for all it is: an exceptional lakefront meeting, gathering, partiy and wedding site. I also worked diligently to stay within budget as the district saved for a new admin building to allow more savings in operational costs. We did it!!

I listen to your comments and concerns. I am accessible and easy to talk to. As a realtor I understand the many financial impacts we face, and how important great outdoor recreation, our Event Center in town, our clean water and our stewardship to Lake Tahoe are to our quality of life. With you in mind, I promise to meet the mission statement goals to provide superior service in an efficient economical manner.

I appreciate your continued support.
