I am a lifelong Vista resident and current City Council Member, who loves this city and her people. I grew up all over Vista – from East Los Angeles Drive (which now is Townsite Drive) to Shadowridge. I attended Vista Public Schools, K-12, graduating from Rancho Buena Vista High School.

My wife of 20+ years, Jennifer, and I are proudly raising our four children in our forever home, in Vista. Our three daughters and son, range in age from 12 to 19 years old, all attend/attended Vista schools.

I have owned and operated my business in Vista, for more than 15 years. It is here that I have learned the value and rewards of hard work and entrepreneurship.

I served as the PTA President for all Vista schools, representing over 4,500 parents and over 20,000 students. In this position, I helped improve our schools through parent engagement and technology integration.

With great humility and gratitude, I have received awards from the Vista Unified School District and the Vista Boys and Girls Club for my community work. I also have been honored to work with and mentor Vista’s youth for over 12 years through my local church.

I am working hard to earn your vote because I believe as your Mayor I will be able to facilitate the genuine change in local government, citizens have been longing for. I’ll be able to; improve communication, community involvement, build relationships, and bolster business development within our city. I will insist that any and all new development within our city, bring a net positive benefit to our citizens.

I will prioritize street and infrastructure maintenance and improvements to ease traffic flow as well as support public safety efforts to reduce crime and homelessness in our community.

Being an engaged and available Mayor is an important goal of mine. I have been and will continue to be a responsive public servant, because I understand that I work for you.
