Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

It is my firm belief that an elected position is an honor, and a position of trust.

Politics, at its best, is really Public Service.

It is encumbent upon all elected officials to serve at the pleasure of their constituency,  representing their best-interests.

I believe in a "service above self" philosophy, and recognize that being most effective requires a servant's heart.

When there are decisions to be made and legislation to pass, at the heart is what serves in the best-interest of people.

Political polarity freezes up the intent of the political process--and there is a critical need for bipartisanship.

Though there are differences in viewpoints which are political party affialiation based, coming together is critical.
