Candidate Statement

Summary

enumerated candidate work history, experience and qualifications.

HANS CHRISTIAN SISON                                                   AGE: 51

NURSE, GULF WAR VETERAN, BOARD OF TRUSTEE PALOMAR HEALTH DISTRICT

Elected to the Palomar Health District Board in 2014, I have maintained the financial stability of the Palomar Health District and cut administrative waste and spent the savings to improve patient care. We must continue to invest in improving and protecting access to the services the Palomar Health community needs.

A Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), I bring the commitment of a frontline healthcare professional to the Palomar Health Board. I will insure that we continue to provide quality care to our patients. Being hospitalized is often a traumatic experience. Patients deserve the best care possible. In this situation, the dedication and compassion of skilled, caring professionals is crucial.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Nursing and as a nurse for 23 years, worked as an LVN in a wide variety of medical units, including Acute Care, Rehabilitative Care, and Hospice Care. I have worked at Palomar Health, Sharp Coronado, and Carmel Mountain Rehabilitation Center and have extensive understanding of what patients need and how to provide the best patient care to the Palomar community.

I am a US Navy Veteran and a member of Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars post 2111.

Endorsed by the California Nurses Association.
