I was born and raised in La Mesa and attended Helix High. My wife and I have called East County our home for over 30 years. We've raised three daughters and have two grandsons. I attended Miramar college and studied Fire Science. I worked for Heartland Fire/Lemon Grove Fire for 33 years and retired in 2016 as a Fire Captain. I returned to work for Viejas Fire department in 2017 as a Fire Engineer.

Political Philosophy

I believe in providing the best fire and EMS service to the citizens I represent along with being fiscally responsible. I also feel it's important to plan for the future so if another resession comes, we will be prepred to continue providing quality service our citizens deserve.
