My Top 3 Priorities

  • Keep Tri-City open by creating strategic partnerships which will increase fiscal stability and enhancing patient experience/ safety by breaking down silos to create a win/win between patient/staff/administration.
  • Open the on campus medical office building and stop the lawsuits. This would generate revenue for Tri-city and reduce losses from legal fees.
  • 3. Re open Behavioral Health unit! The plan to expand the Emergency Department by building a new tower will increase costs and wait times and will waste taxpayers money! It is not time to build, we have 12 years!

Experience

Biography

I have lived in this community for 14 years. Tri-City cares for my children, and I want to make a

difference. 8 of my 22 years as a healthcare executive were at Tri-City, where I opened multiple

service lines, reduced costs and created award-winning outpatient departments: wound care,

cardiac rehabilitation, and wellness, exceeding national benchmarks. While striving to accentuate

the positive, I struggled against the dysfunction that fostered the current financial instability and

poor community reputation.
