My Top 3 Priorities

  • Ensure any new development has the support of our community and doesn't negatively impact the environment, current infrastructure or our neighbors.
  • Be a strong voice for capital improvement projects in front of the Board of Supervisors to finally fix our crumbling roads.
  • Work with the Casa de Oro Alliance to revitalize our community, encourage businesses to return, and create a plan for tree re-planting and ongoing greenery maintenance.

Biography

I am excited about the opportunity to bring a lot of energy and commitment to the Valle De Oro Community Planning Board in order to make our community a better place to live and work. While completing my degree in Political Science, I was exposed to different approaches to community planning which I hope to bring to the Planning Board. Over the last ten years, I have volunteered and worked with local businesses, non-profits and political institutions implementing public outreach programs. In addition to my education and work experience, I have lived my whole life in this community, attended its schools and benefited from local programs. I want to use my background to help my hometown, address the needs of the region, and encourage businesses to come back to the many vacant properties throughout our area. I hope to join the Planning Board to build on the progress they have made and listen to the feedback from the neighborhood to best serve their interests. This community helped shape the person I am today, and I want to ensure that others have the same opportunities and experiences I have been fortunate enough to have.
