My Top 3 Priorities

  • Help students from poor communities receive better education, and re-introduce the idea of teaching welding, construction, cosmetology, and nursing in high school to benefit students that cant afford college classes.
  • Bridging the gap between staff and parents, and getting parents more involved.
  • Fixing the broken system of properly discipling students, the current system is extremely leanient and is a distraction for students seeking a good education.

Education, and the need to put  training for trades back in high schools.

I believe that their is not enough diversity on our current board, decisions are being made in the lives of students in inner city without knowing what those needs are. I am from the inner city, and face some of the current struggles that plague our communities. I know first hand how hard it is to concentrate on Algebra, and English when you dont know when or where you next meal will come from. I also know the filling of struggling to maintain a low grade, and having know thoughts of wanting to attend college because of the thought of not succeeding so I went to a trade school instead. I am that  voice of diversity and inclusion the School Board needs.
