My name is Dian Martin and I am running for the open school board seat for Temecula VUSD Trustee Area 4.  I’m the proud daughter of a Vietnam Veteran, raised 2 sons and have been a Temecula resident for 28 years. I’m honored to be working in education for the past 27 fabulous years; 10 as a high school teacher, 12 as a Teacher on Special Assignment and currently as a District Administrator.  I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, a Master’s in Special Education and an Administrative Credential. I was humbled this past year having been selected as the Riverside County Certificated Administrator of the Year.

Political Philosophy

I’m the right candidate who can lead Temecula VUSD forward. I have extensive experience in the compliance, budgeting, implementation and oversight of State and Federal Educational Programs and will ensure that all monies are focused on the needs of our students.  I’ll ensure resources are made available for school safety, to prepare students for postsecondary opportunities and address the social and emotional needs of our children. Our students are our future and I would appreciate your vote and the opportunity to ensure Temecula VUSD remains a leader in education.
