Martha Howard obtained a BA in Psychology and is Latina Association of Riverside County President; she found the organization 2013 in Temecula.
Martha Howard is a bilingual public policy advocate and leader; she worked her way organizing bilingual citizenship classes, immigration clinics, voting registration drives, and legal public policy researcher for Voter Registration Project, Riverside.
Martha supports the advancement of women and men in policy making through education and culture affirmation. She supports information technology jobs, and fair wages, also she has identified vulnerable populations such as homeless, immigrants in addition to lack of sustainable jobs and affordable housing.
Martha has deep roots in the community and has lived in Temecula 24 year and military spouse for 30 years. She raised her four daughters and is a proud grandmother. She participated in organizing LULAC 3190 Riverside Community Health Fair; she addresses Riverside County Board of Supervisors, Perris, and Temecula Council Members advocating for local mental health programs, housing-first model for homeless, and voting rights.
Martha brings a clear understanding about the challenges in our community and advocates for inclusion at policy making, supports immigration reform, fair paying jobs, affordable housing, community engagement, so that we can invest in policies to improve quality of life. I believe together we are strong!
