Impartial analysis / Proposal

San Diego County Counsel

This measure was placed on the ballot by the governing board of the Rincon Ranch Community Services District ("District"). If approved by two-thirds of the voters voting on the measure, this measure would establish an annual special tax on all the taxable real property within the District.

This measure requests voters approve special taxes in an amount up to $6.92 per acre or portion thereof, plus a [sic] $199.50 per parcel. For example, one parcel consisting of ten acres would pay $268.70 (10 X $6.92 = $69.20 + $199.50 = $268.70), and one parcel consisting of one acre or smaller would pay $206.42 ($6.92 + $199.50 = $206.42).

If two-thirds of the qualified electors voting on this measure vote for approval, the special tax will be imposed annually until repealed by the District or the voters.

This measure requires that all special tax revenue be used for the purposes of repairing and resurfacing of the roads maintained by the District.
