Preguntas y Respuestas

Preguntas de The League of Women Voters of Los Angeles County ILO (1)

Do you favor alternative, non-jail sentences for non-violent offenders and what options should be available?
Respuesta de Eric O. Ibisi:
I favor alternative non jail sentences. Jails are crowded and cost a lot. I believe in second chances in life especially when there are other ways to punish and rehabilitate at the same time. Combination of fine and community service / labor, probation, home monitor devices will do.

Filosofía política

Having sat as a temporary judge (volunteer) for twenty years, and now a Judicial candidate for Seat # 120, I am fair, objective and impartial.  I strongly believe in the constitution, and belief that we are all equal before the law, irrespective of our race, sex, or status in life.  That each person before the court deserves to have their day in court, that they are given the opportunity to address the court and to feel that they were listened to, and a belief that the Judicail officer not only understood thier story, but that the decision made by the Judicial officer was based on the law.
