As your Supervisor I have been working hard for you; prioritizing public safety, community values, public participation, and a common sense General Plan that protects our resource lands, peoples’ property rights and our environment; while streamlining the regulatory process for homeowners as well as current and new business owners.
I have kept my promises to put our Second District first, listen to you, work with you and be your voice in County government. I have an open door policy at my offices in Fortuna and Garberville as well as at the County seat.
I have worked very hard to ensure local control on issues like renewable energy, groundwater management, marijuana regulation and funding for law enforcement, fire protection and rural roads. I am not afraid to make tough decisions on your behalf.
Let’s ensure that our children will be proud to call Humboldt County “home” and enjoy a good quality of life for generations to come.
I am running for reelection because I want to continue serving and working with you. We’re making great progress and positive change but there is more work to be done. With your vote, it will be my great honor to continue that work together.
