Re-Elect Jim Estomo

Director Channel Islands Community Services District

Present:    Director - Channel Islands Beach  CSD

                   Director/Chair- Port Hueneme Water Agency

Director Ventura Regional Sanitation District (VRSD)

Chair VRSD Finance and Personnel Committee

Chief of Staff for Ventura County  Supervisor John Flynn

A pressing issue in Ventura County is the current drought and the need to develop new sources of water and programs for the use of recycled water.  As a Director on the Board I would bring these issues to the forefront and work with board members and other regional agencies to accomplish this.

In Supervisor Flynn's office, I became very familiar with Ventura County departments and their jurisdictions.  I interfaced with our constituents on zoning, planning and many other Ventura County issues and projects.  This experience has taught me how various units of government  can and do work together.

My other projects have focused on development in the Channel Islands Harbor and adjacent coastal sites.  The work involved extensive interaction with the California Coastal Commission, CA State Legislators and State Agencies

As a Director and member of a Special District Board, I understand the importance and function of local government agencies and their knowledge and experience with local issues.

As a member of the Channel Islands Beach Community Services District (CIBSCD) , my experience in serving Ventura County as outlined above will be valuable in its dealings with the California State Legislature and the many concerns of the Ventura County community, both now and in the future.

I am a Hollywood Beach Homeowner of 25 years, and past Owner/Administrator of health care facilities with 30+ year’s experience.

Thank you for your vote

Re-Elect Jim Estomo Director Channel Islands Community Services District Tuesday, November 8.

Endorsed by Ventura County Sheriff Geoff Dean
