Mis 3 prioridades principales

  • Support the creation of much needed affordable workforce housing for Healdsburg residents and families
  • Support our small businesses and create good-paying jobs for residents
  • Address our local parking issues to better serve the local community

David Hagele is a small business owner, father and community leader who has dedicated much of his life towards strengthening our community.

David spent much of his youth overseas living in Japan, where his father was a math teacher at a Japanese college, before returning to the United States during his high school years. After graduating from high school, David enrolled at Pacific Union College (PUC), where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business.

Upon graduating from PUC, David worked with a small real estate company for more than a decade before starting his own real estate consulting firm, DLH Realty Capital, based in Healdsburg. Since starting his own small business more than a decade ago, he has focused on helping local residents and businesses navigate the complexities of the commercial real estate loan process, making the process easier to navigate and providing clarity with the regulatory process at the local, state and federal level.

David’s community involvement includes service as Past President of the Active 20-30 Club #50, an organization that helps at-risk and underprivileged youth in our community; David lead the non-profit organization's take over of the annual 4 th of July Fireworks Show at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in partnership with local police and firefighting organizations in 2009, when the City of Santa Rosa considered suspending the fireworks show given its budgetary crisis during the Great Recession…David took the lead in saving the fireworks show and helping keep the show accessible for all Sonoma County residents, and the non-profit continues to operate the fireworks show to this day.

David is also a member of the Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce, Sonoma County Alliance and regularly attends the monthly meetings of Good Morning Healdsburg. He is also a regular participant at Healdsburg City Council meetings and Community Housing meetings to be a voice for the community on important quality of life issues.

David and his wife, Laurie, a Board Member at Live Oak Preschool, live in Healdsburg where they are raising their two preschool age children.  David and Laurie share their passion for giving back to the community where they’re raising their children, and want to improve the quality of life for the next generation of Healdsburg residents.
