Filosofía política

Society must provide the opportunity and access to a quality education to all its residents who wish to obtain it.  That is my political education philosophy.  Community college is the only public higher education institution in our democracy that creates an opportunity for everyone. My mission is student success. Not all students who enroll enter prepared to succeed in a college classroom. These sudents need accelerated remedial education in Math and English. Community colleges experience challenging budget cycles. My priority during these uncertain periods is to make sure support services such as tutors, writing labs, mentors and learning communities are available to our students. This will add to the completion and transfer rates of our students and the ability to continue in their specific designated professions.
