I have lived in Del Mar since 1998, and have had the opportunity to learn a great deal about our coastal community. The City is facing a number of important decisions—ranging from the need to revitalize our commercial corridor to how best to manage the challenge of short term rentals.
As a former healthcare executive, I have the management, analytical, and organizational skills required to make the best decisions for Del Mar. I also listen to different perspectives, and have a collaborative approach to problem solving. These strengths will be critical in building consensus as a member of the City Council.
As a member of the Planning Commission, I’m familiar with the City’s land use ordinances and permitting process, knowledge which will be extremely helpful for a new city council member.
