Mis 3 prioridades principales

  • Manage Growth - Helping manage present and future projects to ensure we are providing our residents with a "healthy growth" city but limiting adding more traffic and congestion.
  • Safe Communities and Fiscal Responsibility - Ensure our Police and Fire Department have all the necessary tools and finances to protect our great city. Work with our leaders to ensure we have a profitable and balanced budget.
  • Public Service and Transparency - Lead our community through serving them. Have a transparency in government and open communication with our residents to lead our city.

Preguntas de League of Women Voters of North County San Diego (1)

What is the most significant challenge facing the City of San Marcos, and if you are elected, what steps will you take to address it?
Respuesta de Matt Stack:

I believe the most significant challenge facing our city is the management of growth and development over the next few years.  While safety is always the #1 concern of any city, I believe that the challenge of providing an adequate amount of schools, housing and businesses while at the same time not creating overcrowding and too much traffic in our city is the number one concern of our residents.  The way to achieve this is firstly letting the community know that I have the same vision they do.  The second thing is to give rise to their voices within our government and work with outer-lying cities (and espectially within the Unified School District) to ensure our city is growing at a healthy rate and achieving what the people want.
