I have a track record of successes on the City Council. I was Mayor last year and helped collaborate on the return of over $300,000 in taxes paid by our residents that was being unfairly held by the State. This significant sum accentuates the Town's strong, positive financial position. I also instituted Mayor's Office Hours, which was so successful, our current Mayor, Vice Mayor and City Manager have carried on the tradition. I started our Town's beloved Fourth of July Parade and have supported our Town-wide events for years as a volunteer and making Sangria for the Town Picnic with my husband's Los Altos Hills wine!
My husband and I are raising our three sons here and built our own home less than 10 years ago. I have been through the process and want others to find the Town welcoming of their investment here. I am an advocate for homeowner's rights, eliminating ambiguity in government and pride myself of being very responsive to all residents who need my time. Prior to City Council, I served on the Town's Pathway Committee. I understand the way it works and want to balance the desire to have a robust system with property rights, privacy, safety and costs. It is one of our community's greatest assets and we must maintain it.
Finally, I love our Town and am happy to serve in any way.
