Mis 3 prioridades principales

  • Restore city services to provide the best service possible to our residents and businesses, making Santa Clara a safer and more responsive city
  • Reduce traffic congestion by eliminating bottlenecks within our city, keeping El Camino Real open to traffic, improving traffic light synchronization.
  • Stop the overdevelopment of massive apartment complexes where not compatible with our neighborhoods. Include more affordable units in every development and keep housing in character with the neighborhoods.

Filosofía política

I have served Santa Clara for more than 20 years, as commissioner on Historic and Landmarks Commission, as councilmember, and as Mayor (2002-2010). Santa Clara is a diverse, unique, and special city, and I will always strive to do what’s best for our residents, our businesses, our workers, our people. I seek election to Seat #4 to serve our city and to bring experience and leadership to the council.
