Filosofía política

For the last four years, I have had the great privilege to serve the people of San Mateo on our city council. My goals have always been to offer strong leadership and to work together towards smart solutions to the challenges we face.

My vision for San Mateo is a community where every person can find a good job, an affordable home, excellent schools for their children, and the kind of city services that make living here fun, welcoming, and safe.

If re-elected, I promise to continue to fight for safe neighborhoods and parks, focus on strong economic development to promote good jobs and wages, and invest in our infrastructure.

I am very fortunate to have the support of leading community members and local elected officials, as well as many organizations and local businesses. I'm proud to be endorsed by Congresswoman Jackie Speier, State Senator Jerry Hill, Assemblymember Kevin Mullin, the entire San Mateo County Board of Supervisors, including our own Supervisor Carole Groom. I also enjoy the unanimous support of my colleagues on the San Mateo City Council, as well as the endorsement of the San Mateo Daily Journal, San Mateo Firefighters Association, the San Mateo Police Officers’ Association, the San Mateo Building Trades Council, the Loma Prieta Chapter of the Sierra Club, and the San Mateo County Central Labor Council.

No one person can alone accomplish everything that needs to be done, so I ask for your help in the fight to keep San Mateo a safe and strong city.
