Mis 3 prioridades principales

  • Traffic: Gridlock is worsening by the day. Decisive, effective plans are needed to address community concerns, effectively manage traffic flow, and implement traffic calming measures.
  • Public Safety & Quality of Life: I’ll fight to ensure essential services such as 911, neighborhood police patrols and fire response, and parks and recreation services for all ages are maintained here in San Mateo
  • Fiscal Accountability: Maintaining our excellent city services requires a proactive approach to saving money and paying down our City’s obligations, and managing taxpayer funds in a transparent, accountable manner.

Profesión:Education Technology CEO / Planning Commissioner

Planning Commissioner, Vice Chair, City of San Mateo Planning Commission — Cargo designado (2015–current)

Stanford University Master of Business Administration (M.B.A), General Management (2005)
U. C. Berkeley Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Business Administration (concentrating in Economic Analysis & Management Science) (1998)
U.C. Berkeley Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Business Administration (concentrating in Economic Analysis & Management Science) (1998)

As a teen growing up in Belmont, I spent many days hanging out at the Hillsdale Mall, the Fashion Island Discount Cinema, and BelMateo Bowl. Shortly after graduating from U.C. Berkeley, I chose to make San Mateo my permanent home and have since lived in four different San Mateo neighborhoods, including Aragon, where I currently live with my wife, Shirley, and my six-year-old son. My mother lives in the Beresford-Hillsdale neighborhood and my brother lives in North Central.

Professionally, I have worked many years in the Silicon Valley as a tech executive and most recently as an entrepreneur. Along the way, I earned my MBA from Stanford. And I am currently the Co-Founder of an educational media small business that publishes educational websites used by over a million students each month—work that fuels my commitment to helping young people and providing quality education for all students.

My real passion in life, aside from being a father, is staying active in the community, giving back anywhere I can. I currently address quality of life issues of concern to us all, through my role as Vice-Chair of the San Mateo Planning Commission and as my neighborhood's representative on San Mateo United Homeowners Association. On the weekends, you will likely find me at Trinta or Beresford Park where I am the Manager of my son’s San Mateo Little League team. I have also completed both the San Mateo’s Citizen Services Academy and our Chamber of Commerce’s year-long San Mateo Region Leadership Program.

In short, my roots here in San Mateo run deep, and I care very much about this community’s future. Please join me.
