Filosofía política

While California grows and more companies are moving here, too many families in my community are struggling to find good jobs and provide for their children. I will be a voice for our families in Sacramento and work to keep our neighborhoods safe, strengthen our schools and give every child a chance to succeed. That’s why I have earned the endorsement of Assemblymember Adam Gray and Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin.

As a Neuroscientist, I was funded by the American Heart Association and the U.S. Army to help students and service members find good jobs. I helped the Department of Defense treat first responders and veterans suffering from traumatic brain injuries. I am proud of my work as a Science Fellow at the California State Senate to expand access to healthcare services and combat climate change through HOV laws.

I will always push for better ideas and fact-based policies over wasting taxpayer money on outdated systems.

Before I was a Scientist, I was a middle and high school Math and Science Teacher. Too many parents in Los Angeles are dealing with underperforming schools. We need to offer families better choices.

I will stand up to the special interests and fight for more affordable housing.

My husband serves in the Long Beach Police Department. I know we can do more to keep our neighborhoods safe, reduce theft, break-ins and other crimes.

I will focus on solving problems and be a VOICE for working families.
