Protect our current and future water supplies.  Led the fight for recycled water rights and distribution to Seaside, a poterntial of $250,000/year revenue.  Continue the legal fight against Cal-Am slant wells and protection of Marina water supply, a leader of the battle since 2013.  Continue work on the MCWD Groundwater Sustainability Agency.

As a Director for the Marina Coast Water District, I have helped form a business plan first recognized by the 'Conprehensive Annual Financial Report' (CAFR) award for fiscal responsibility, openess and transparency in Government achieved during my Presidency in 2008 and continues today for our 10th year in a row.  Affordable rates with a safe reliable water supply, continuing my recycled water program first negotiated in 2007, supplying Seaside through the RUWAP pipeleine helping to solve the overdraft crisis of the Carmel River and destruction of habitat.  Continue the fight against Cal-Am's slant well installations north of Marina.  Six years as President, MCWD, has led to fiscal responsibility, California conservation goals achieved, recycled water supply project underway and holds a great place in overall supply and recharge into groundwater to prevent salt water intrusion and to hinder the slant well intake.  Continue review of the potential for desalinization on a smaller scale for our use in the future.  Utilize my stormwater capture and reuse experience for potential supply.  MCWD is the regional leader in water supply at affordible rates and diversity of supply.
