Founder, Ahmad's School Drive (2017–current)

I’ve lived in District 5 for the last 17 years. My spouse is an immigrant from Mexico and myself from Syria. A doctor by training, I pursued the educational media business. We live in a one bedroom home with modest income, but always tried to give back with volunteer work and more. I’ve raised thousands of dollars for CSUF film students, hired student actors from Fullerton College and started my own charity “Ahmad's School Drive” serving South Fullerton schools. I hope to earn your vote Nov 6 to continue serving our district and the city I love.

Filosofía política

A city that works for everyone:

A robust local economy that attracts high quality good pay jobs, provides career opportunities for young people, supports small businesses and generates revenue for the city to reinvest in its roads, parks, community services and public safety.

A balanced housing stock that provides affordable housing options for all income levels and creates affordable home ownership opportunities for young people and the middle class.

A clean environment, safe water, clean air, and solutions to improve energy efficiency and preserve open spaces.

The cost of housing

We need city councils that encourage responsible development and create a balanced housing stock with affordable rental or home ownership options for all income levels.

Child Poverty

Tackling poverty that is rampant in Fullerton.

50% of children in Fullerton are under poverty lines with 170 kids that are homeless. This is due to increase cost of housing and an inadequate local economy that isn't generating high paying quality jobs. Through strong economic policies that improve our business development and create quality work, local and regional collaborations on homelessness solutions, and responsible housing development we can tackle poverty and improve the lives of children so they may have better opportunities in education and quality of life.

Crumbling Roads

Real solutions for our roads

Our crumblie roads and infrastructure are merely a symptom of our city's deficit. In order to fix the roads, I will tackle our deficit with short and long term fiscally responsible economic plans that generate revenue for our city and prioratize investment in our roads.

Further, on the short term, I will ask for a review of the street seletion process in an effort to include more residential streets and make sure that all parts of the city get thier fair share of street repairs.
