Mis 3 prioridades principales

  • Proactively work with the state, county and our residents, to find sustainable, long term solutions to the state-mandated low-income and multi-family housing requirements- ones that will benefit our city and our children for the future.
  • Improve the safety of our streets for our children, pedestrians and cylists.
  • Improve the timeliness and quality of communication from the city to our residents, provide open forums for discussion, and improve transparency.

Profesión:Better Streets Commissioner
Commissioner, Monte Sereno Better Streets Commission — Cargo designado (2017–current)

University of California at Berkeley Bachelor of Arts, Political Science (1987)

I am a stay-at-home mom, grandmother, volunteer, runner, outdoor enthusiast, and dedicated commissioner serving our community. I graduated from UC Berkeley, where I met my husband, in 1987 with a B.A. in PoliticaI Science. I have worked over the years in advertising, real estate and school administration.

I have three children, my youngest son is a senior at Saint Francis High School, my daugther is married with a little boy, and my oldest son is a graphic designer. I have chaired just about every school event there is- from raffles to auction dinners, as well as being "room mom" several times over. I have always been active in my community, from refurbishing playgrounds in Harlem when we lived in New York, back in the 1990s, to volunteering and fundraising for Childrens Hospital Los Angeles when we lived in LA in the 2000s. Since moving to Monte Sereno in 2013, I became involved with improving our streets and the safety of our children and pedestrians, and hope to serve our wonderful city as a member of our city council.
